MIIT has set up a new High-Tech Department with six divisions for

The department's director has not been announced yet. This department used to be an agency under MoST (Ministry of Science and Technology), notes NetEase News. But the divisions for future industries and critical technologies are new, replacing divisions for

- advanced manufacturing

- modern services and aerospace
MIIT’s Planning Department has now assumed additional responsibilities for
